WAYPOINT ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

WHAT: 29th annual Tribute to Women of Achievement event call for nominations.

WHEN: Nominations can be made starting the second week of June through July 23, 2010.

Tribute to Women of Achievement will be held on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010.

7:30 Program and awards presentation
9:00 Adjourn

WHO: Nominate women in your organization, church, family and community who you feel deserve recognition for their tremendous impact and outstanding achievements. Women may be nominated into the following categories:
Achievements in Her Field
Organizational Impact – Nonprofit
Organizational Impact – Profit
Service and Support to Community or Country
Growth and Accomplishments in Personal Life
Unsung Heroine

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN WAYPOINT TRIBUTE TO WOMEN:

For twenty-nine years, Waypoint has proudly hosted its Tribute to Women of Achievement event. The evening is dedicated to celebrate and honor the exceptional women in our lives and the contributions they make to local organizations, businesses, and our community. This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010.  Last year, nearly 400 members of our community attended this special event to celebrate the many accomplishments of 40 women.  We are looking forward to another extraordinary evening recognizing the extraordinary women in our community.
There are several ways you can participate in this celebration:
NOMINATE outstanding women in your organization, community or family for their achievements. Nominations must be submitted online at HYPERLINK http://www.waypointservices.org www.waypointservices.org by Friday, July 23, 2010.

SUPPORT the event as an individual or company sponsor. Your name will be listed on the event invitations and in the program that evening. Please complete a sponsorship response card and return by Friday, July 23, 2010.

ATTEND the event. Event invitations will be mailed mid-August. Cost is $85 per person, $680 for a table of eight, or $800 for a table of ten.

Proceeds from your participation in the Waypoint Tribute to Women of Achievement event will benefit families who are homeless, living in poverty, or victims of domestic violence and sexual assault programs at Waypoint.
